आरुज्यारुज्य तौ वृक्षानन्योन्यमभिजषघ्नतु: । जीमूताविव गर्जन्तौ निनदन्तौ महाबलौ,दोनोंका बल महान्‌ था। वे गर्जते हुए दो मेघोंकी भाँति सिंहनाद करके वृक्षोंकों तोड़- तोड़कर परस्पर चोट करते थे

ārūjyārūjya tau vṛkṣān anyonyam abhijaṣaghnatuḥ | jīmūtāv iva garjantau ninadantau mahābalau ||

Vaiśampāyana nói: Với sức mạnh phi thường, hai kẻ liên tiếp bẻ gãy cây rừng rồi dùng chúng đánh nhau. Gầm rống như hai đám mây sấm, họ làm rung chuyển cả khu rừng bằng tiếng thét chiến trận khi trao đổi đòn đánh.
