Arrogance, Boons, and Nimitta
यवक्रीत उवाच एवं करिष्ये मा ताप॑ं तात कार्षी: कथंचन । यथा हि मे भवान् मान्यस्तथा रैभ्य: पिता मम,यवक्रीत बोले--पिताजी! मैं ऐसा ही करूँगा, आप किसी तरह मनमें संताप न करें। जैसे आप मेरे माननीय हैं, वैसे रैभ्यमुनि मेरे लिये पिताके समान हैं
Yavakrīta uvāca: evaṁ kariṣye mā tāpaṁ tāta kārṣīḥ kathaṁcana | yathā hi me bhavān mānyas tathā raibhyas pitā mama ||
Yavakrīta thưa: “Con sẽ làm đúng như vậy. Thưa cha, xin cha chớ bận lòng. Vì cũng như cha đáng để con kính trọng, thì hiền giả Raibhya cũng đáng kính như thế—đối với con, ngài như một người cha.”
