सो>हमेत्य कुरुश्रेष्ठ द्वारकां पाण्डुनन्दन । अश्रौषं त्वां व्यसनिनं युयुधानादू यथातथम्‌,कुरुप्रवर पाण्डुनन्दन! जब मैं द्वारकामें आया, तब सात्यकिसे आपके संकटमें पड़नेका यथावत्‌ समाचार सुना

so ’ham ity a kuruśreṣṭha dvārakāṃ pāṇḍunandana | aśrauṣaṃ tvāṃ vyasaninaṃ yuyudhānād yathātatham ||

“Vì thế ta đã đến—như thể nói ‘ta đây’—hỡi bậc tối thượng của dòng Kuru, hỡi niềm vui của nhà Pāṇḍu, đến Dvārakā. Tại đó, ta nghe từ Yuyudhāna bản tường thuật đầy đủ và chính xác về nỗi khốn cùng của ngươi.”
