Surabhi–Indra Dialogue as a Governance Exemplar
ततोऊहं त्वामनुप्राप्त: कौरवाणामवेक्षया । सदा हभ्यधिकः: स्नेहः प्रीतिश्न त्वयि मे प्रभो,यह सुनकर मैं कौरवोंकी दशा देखनेके लिये तुम्हारे पास आया हूँ। राजन! तुम्हारे ऊपर सदासे ही मेरा स्नेह और प्रेम अधिक रहा है
tato 'haṃ tvām anuprāptaḥ kauravāṇām avekṣayā | sadā hy adhikaḥ snehaḥ prītiś ca tvayi me prabho ||
Rồi tôi đến với ngài, thưa chúa thượng, để tự mình xem xét tình thế của dòng Kaurava. Bởi từ lâu, lòng thương mến và thiện cảm của tôi dành cho ngài vẫn sâu đậm hơn đối với kẻ khác—do sự trung thành bền bỉ và mối gắn bó riêng tư.
