वक्रिदुत्तरमेतेषां वक्तुं नोत्सहते पुमान् इति सर्वे मनोभिस्ते चिन्तयन्ति सम पार्थिवा:,वे सब भूपाल मन-ही-मन यह सोचने लगे कि भगवान्के इन वचनोंका उत्तर कोई भी मनुष्य नहीं दे सकता है
vakriduttaram eteṣāṁ vaktuṁ notsahate pumān iti sarve manobhis te cintayanti sma pārthivāḥ
Vaiśampāyana nói: Nghe những lời ấy, các vua đều tự nhủ trong lòng: “Không một phàm nhân nào đủ can đảm để thốt ra một lời đáp xứng đáng với những điều này.” Khoảnh khắc ấy cho thấy uy lực đạo lý và thế lực chính trị của người nói đã làm câm lặng mọi tranh biện thường tình, khiến các bậc quân vương phải tự cân nhắc dharma trong tâm thay vì cãi lại thành lời.
