वेदिकामश्रिताभिक्षू समाक्रान्तान्यनेकश: । प्रचलन्तीव भारेण योषिद्धिर्भवनान्युत,छतोंके सड़ककी ओरवाले भागपर बैठी हुई झुंड-की-झुंड स्त्रियोंके भारसे मानो हस्तिनापुरके वे सारे भवन कम्पित-से हो रहे थे
vedikām āśritā bhikṣū samākrāntāny anekaśaḥ | pracalantīva bhāreṇa yoṣidbhir bhavanāny uta ||
Vaiśaṃpāyana nói: Những tòa nhà ở Hastināpura dường như rung chuyển dưới sức nặng của đám đông phụ nữ ngồi ken dày trên các sân thượng hướng ra đường, tụ tập đông đảo để dõi theo cảnh tượng đang diễn ra.
