Kuntī’s Lament and Govinda’s Consolation
कृष्णसम्माननार्थ च नगरं समलंकृतम् । बभूव राजमार्गश्व बहुरत्नसमाचितः,श्रीकृष्णके स्वागत-सत्कारके लिये हस्तिनापुरको खूब सजाया गया था। वहाँका राजमार्ग भी अनेक प्रकारके रत्नोंसे सुशोभित किया गया था
kṛṣṇa-sammānanārthaṃ ca nagaraṃ samalaṅkṛtam | babhūva rāja-mārgaś ca bahu-ratna-samācitaḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana nói: Để tôn vinh Śrī Kṛṣṇa, cả thành được trang hoàng lộng lẫy. Ngay cả đại lộ hoàng gia cũng rực rỡ, như được khảm nạm bằng vô số loại châu báu.
