असकृच्चाप्यहं तेन त्वत्कृते पार्थ भेदित: । न मया तद्‌ गृहीतं च पापं तस्य चिकीर्षितम्‌,कुन्तीनन्दन! उसने मुझे भी तुम्हारी ओरसे फोड़नेके लिये अनेक बार चेष्टा की है; परंतु मैंने उसके पापपूर्ण प्रस्तावको कभी स्वीकार नहीं किया है

Transliteration

asakṛc cāpy ahaṃ tena tvatkṛte pārtha bheditaḥ | na mayā tad gṛhītaṃ ca pāpaṃ tasya cikīrṣitam ||

Translation

“Hỡi con của Kuntī, hắn đã hết lần này đến lần khác tìm cách vì ngươi mà tách ta khỏi các ngươi. Nhưng ta chưa từng chấp nhận lời đề nghị tội lỗi mà hắn toan tính.”
