Reconciling Contingency and Human Effort
अतिवादापविद्धस्तु वक्ष्यामि बलमात्मन: । यद्यपि स्वयं अपनी प्रशंसा करना सर्वथा नीच पुरुषोंका ही कार्य है
ativādāpaviddhas tu vakṣyāmi balam ātmanaḥ |
Bhīmasena nói: “Bị lời lẽ quá đáng và sỉ nhục của ngài làm tổn thương, nay ta sẽ nói về sức mạnh của mình. Dẫu tự khen mình vốn là việc của kẻ hèn, nhưng những lời trái với danh dự ấy đã khiến ta đau đớn; vì bị xúc phạm như vậy, ta buộc phải tuyên bày uy lực của ta.”
