Dhṛtarāṣṭra–Duryodhana Dialogue on Peace and the Refusal of Compromise
अहं च तात कर्णश्न भ्राता दुःशासनश्व मे । एते वयं हनिष्याम: पाण्डवान् समरे त्रयः,तात! मैं, कर्ण तथा भाई दुःशासन--हम तीन ही समरभूमिमें पाण्डवोंका संहार कर डालेंगे
ahaṃ ca tāta karṇaś ca bhrātā duḥśāsanaś ca me | ete vayaṃ haniṣyāmaḥ pāṇḍavān samare trayaḥ ||
Duryodhana nói: “Thưa phụ vương, con, Karṇa, và em trai con là Duḥśāsana—chỉ ba người chúng con thôi—sẽ diệt sạch các Pāṇḍava nơi chiến địa.”
