दुर्योधन उवाच प्रशंसस्यभिनन्दंस्तान् पार्थानक्षपराजितान् । अर्जुनस्य रथे ब्रूहि कथमश्चा: कथं ध्वजा:,दुर्योधन बोला--संजय! तुम तो जूएमें हारे हुए कुन्तीपुत्रोंका अभिनन्दन करते हुए उनकी बड़ी प्रशंसा करने लगे। बताओ तो सही, अर्जुनके रथमें कैसे घोड़े और कैसे ध्वज हैं?
duryodhana uvāca praśaṁsasy abhinandan tān pārthān akṣaparājitān | arjunasya rathe brūhi katham aśvāḥ kathaṁ dhvajāḥ ||
Duryodhana nói: “Sañjaya, ngươi lại ca ngợi và chúc mừng những Pārtha—các con của Kuntī—những kẻ đã thua trong ván xúc xắc. Hãy nói thẳng cho ta biết: chiến xa của Arjuna có ngựa loại nào, và cờ hiệu ra sao?”
