Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Appraisal of Arjuna’s Strategic Supremacy
तदा हाभीक्ष्णं सुबहून् प्रकारान् श्रोतास्मि तानावसथे कुरूणाम् | तेषां समन्ताच्च तथा रणाग्रे क्षय: किलायं भरतानुपैति
tadā hābhīkṣṇaṁ subahūn prakārān śrotāsmi tān āvasathe kurūṇām | teṣāṁ samantāc ca tathā raṇāgre kṣayaḥ kilāyaṁ bharatānupaiti ||
Rồi đây, ngồi trong cung điện, ta sẽ hết lần này đến lần khác bị buộc phải nghe, theo đủ mọi cách, những bản tin về các vương tử Kuru và cảnh ngộ đổi thay của họ. Than ôi—ngay nơi ngưỡng cửa chiến tranh, từ mọi phía, sự diệt vong của dòng Bharata hẳn đã kề cận.
