मड़लालम्भनं योग: श्रुतमुत्थानमार्जवम्‌ | भूतिमेतानि कुर्वन्ति सतां चाभीक्षणदर्शनम्‌,मांगलिक पदार्थोका स्पर्श, चित्तवृत्तियोंका निरोध, शास्त्रका अभ्यास, उद्योगशीलता, सरलता और सत्पुरुषों-का बारंबार दर्शन--से सब कल्याणकारी हैं

maṅgalālambhanaṃ yogaḥ śrutam utthānam ārjavam | bhūtim etāni kurvanti satāṃ cābhīkṣṇadarśanam ||

Vidura nói: “Nương tựa những ảnh hưởng cát tường, tự chế, học hỏi giáo pháp, nỗ lực tinh cần và ngay thẳng—những điều ấy đem lại phú quý; và việc thường xuyên gặp gỡ, gần gũi bậc hiền đức cũng vậy.”
