सहायबन्धना हार्था: सहायाश्चार्थबन्धना: । अन्योन्यबन्धनावेतौ विनान्योन्यं न सिद्धयत:,धनकी प्राप्ति सहायककी अपेक्षा रखती है और सहायक धनकी अपेक्षा रखते हैं; ये दोनों एक-दूसरेके आश्रित हैं, परस्परके सहयोग बिना इनकी सिद्धि नहीं होती

Transliteration

sahāyabandhanā hārthāḥ sahāyāś cārthabandhanāḥ | anyonyabandhanāv etau vinānyonyaṃ na sidhyataḥ ||

Translation

Vidura nói: Của cải được gây dựng và giữ vững nhờ mối ràng buộc với những đồng minh hữu năng; còn đồng minh lại nương vào của cải để có chỗ dựa và phát huy hiệu lực. Hai điều ấy—nguồn lực và sự trợ giúp—nương tựa lẫn nhau; thiếu sự hợp tác qua lại thì không bên nào thành tựu trọn vẹn.
