सत्यं रूप॑ श्रुतं विद्या कौल्यं शीलं बलं धनम् | शौर्य च चित्रभाष्यं च दशेमे स्वर्गयोनय:,सत्य, विनयकी मुद्रा, शास्त्रज्ञान, विद्या, कुलीनता, शील, बल, धन, शूरता और चमत्कारपूर्ण बात कहना--ये दस स्वर्गके हेतु हैं
satyaṁ rūpaṁ śrutaṁ vidyā kaulyaṁ śīlaṁ balaṁ dhanam | śauryaṁ ca citrabhāṣyaṁ ca daśeme svargayonayaḥ ||
Vidura nói: Chân thật, dung mạo đoan chính đầy phẩm giá, tri thức do nghe học (giáo pháp và truyền thống), học vấn chân chính, dòng dõi cao quý, hạnh kiểm tốt, sức mạnh, của cải, dũng khí, và tài năng nói năng tao nhã rực rỡ—mười điều ấy được nói là những nguồn cội dẫn người đến cõi trời.
