अध्याय २९ — वासुदेव–संजय संवादः
Karma, Varṇa-Dharma, and the Ethics of Governance
इतो गत्वा संजय क्षिप्रमेव उपातिष्ठेथा ब्राह्मणान् ये तदर्हा: । विशुद्धवीर्याश्वरणोपपन्ना: कुले जाता: सर्वधर्मोपपन्ना:
ito gatvā saṃjaya kṣipram eva upātiṣṭhethā brāhmaṇān ye tad-arhāḥ | viśuddha-vīryāśvaraṇopapannāḥ kule jātāḥ sarva-dharmopapannāḥ ||
Yudhiṣṭhira nói: “Hãy rời nơi này, Sañjaya, và không chậm trễ, hãy đến đảnh lễ những Brāhmaṇa thật xứng đáng được tôn kính—những người dòng dõi thanh tịnh, khí lực tinh thần trong sạch, giữ kỷ luật và chuyên cần học tụng Veda, sinh trong gia tộc cao quý và an trú trong mọi bổn phận của dharma. Hãy thay chúng ta dâng lời kính chào cung kính.”
