अध्याय २३ — संजयस्योपप्लव्यगमनम् तथा युधिष्ठिरकुशलप्रश्नाः
Sanjaya’s Arrival at Upaplavya and Yudhiṣṭhira’s Welfare Inquiries
सहामात्य: सहतपुत्रश्न राजन् समेत्य तां वाचमिमां निबोध,महाराज युधिष्ठिर! आपके ताऊ धुृतराष्ट्रने रातके समय मुझसे आपलोगोंके लिये जो संदेश कहा था, उसे आप मन्त्रियों और पुत्रोंसहित मेरे इन शब्दोंमें सुनिये
sa-hāmātyaḥ saha-putraiś ca rājan sametya tāṃ vācam imāṃ nibodha | mahārāja yudhiṣṭhira! āpake tāū dhṛtarāṣṭreṇa rātri-samaye mayi yuṣmākam arthāya yaḥ sandeshaḥ uktaḥ, taṃ mantri-putra-sahitaḥ mama etān śabdān śṛṇuta ||
Sañjaya nói: “Tâu Đại vương, xin bệ hạ cùng các đại thần và các vương tử hội tụ, rồi lắng nghe kỹ những lời này. Hỡi Đại vương Yudhiṣṭhira, xin bệ hạ—cùng các mưu thần và các huynh đệ—nghe từ ta thông điệp mà người bác cả Dhṛtarāṣṭra đã nói với ta trong đêm vì lợi ích của bệ hạ.”
