Bhīṣma’s Recollection of the Duel: Charioteer’s Fall, Brahmin Protection, and Portents after Rāma’s Collapse
अथास्रमस्रवद् घोरं गिरेगैरिकधातुवत् । रामेण सुमहाबाहो क्षतस्य छतजेक्षण
athāsramasravad ghoraṁ gire gairikadhātuvat | rāmeṇa sumahābāho kṣatasya chatajīkṣaṇa ||
Bhīṣma nói: “Rồi, hỡi Duryodhana cánh tay hùng mạnh, đôi mắt đỏ như sắc lọng, từ vết thương sâu do Rāma (Paraśurāma) gây ra bỗng tuôn bật một dòng máu ghê rợn—tựa như mạch suối trên núi chảy ra thứ nước nhuốm đỏ bởi đất son.”
