न हि देवेषु सर्वेषु नासुरेषूरगेषु च
na hi deveṣu sarveṣu nāsureṣv urageṣu ca | na rākṣaseṣu yakṣeṣu vā arjuna-samaḥ kvacit || manuṣyeṣu kutaḥ syād vā bhūtaṃ bhaviṣyaṃ ca me śrutam | na tathā rathināṃ kaścid iti bhīṣma uvāca ||
Bhīṣma nói: “Quả thật, trong hàng chư thiên cũng không, trong loài asura cũng không, trong các giống rắn thần cũng không; giữa rākṣasa và yakṣa cũng không có ai sánh ngang Arjuna. Vậy thì giữa loài người làm sao có được? Dẫu ở quá khứ hay tương lai, ta chưa từng nghe có một chiến xa dũng sĩ như thế.”
