भीष्मकृतः पाण्डवपक्ष-महारथ-प्रशंसा
Bhishma’s appraisal of Pandava-aligned chariot-warriors
जामदग्न्येन रामेण महास्त्राणि विमुज्चता । न मे व्यथा कृता काचितू त्वं तु मे कि करिष्यसि,जमदग्निनन्दन परशुरामने मेरे ऊपर बड़े-बड़े अस्त्रोंका प्रयोग किया था; परंतु वे भी मुझे कोई पीड़ा न दे सके। फिर तू तो मेरा कर ही क्या लेगा?
Jāmadagnyena Rāmeṇa mahāstrāṇi vimucyatā | na me vyathā kṛtā kācid tvaṃ tu me kiṃ kariṣyasi ||
Bhīṣma nói: “Khi Rāma Jāmadagnya (Paraśurāma) tung những thần khí hùng mạnh nhằm vào ta, chúng cũng chẳng thể gây cho ta một chút đau đớn nào. Vậy thì ngươi có thể làm gì được ta?”
