अथ तत्रापि पद्मानि विचिन्वन्‌ भरतर्षभ | अपश्यत्‌ स तु देवेन्द्र बिसमध्यगतं स्थितम्‌,भरतश्रेष्ठ! उसमें भी कमलोंके भीतर खोज करते हुए अग्निदेवने एक कमलके नालमें बैठे हुए देवेन्द्रकों देखा

atha tatrāpi padmāni vicinvan bharatarṣabha | apaśyat sa tu devendra bisamadhyagataṁ sthitam ||

Hỡi tráng sĩ của dòng Bharata! Ngay tại đó, khi dò tìm giữa những đóa sen, thần Agni đã thấy Indra—chúa tể chư thiên—ngồi ẩn mình trong chính phần giữa của cuống sen.
