लोहाभिसारो निर्वेत्त: कुरुक्षेत्रमकर्दमम्‌ । पुष्टास्तेडश्वा भूता योधा: श्वो युद्धयस्व सकेशव:,“अब लोहमय अस्त्र-शस्त्रोंकोी बाहर निकालकर तैयार करनेका कार्य पूरा हो चुका है। कुरुक्षेत्रक्री कीच भी सूख गयी है। तुम्हारे घोड़े खूब हृष्ट-पुष्ट हैं और सैनिकोंका भी तुमने अच्छी तरह भरण-पोषण किया है; अतः कल सबेरेसे ही श्रीकृष्णके साथ आकर युद्ध करो

Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca | lohābhisāro nirvṛttaḥ kurukṣetram akardamam | puṣṭās te 'śvā bhūtā yodhāḥ śvo yudhyasva sa-keśavaḥ ||

Translation

Sañjaya nói: “Việc chuẩn bị binh khí bằng sắt—gươm giáo và vũ khí—đã hoàn tất. Kurukṣetra nay không còn lầy lội, mặt đất đã khô. Ngựa của ngươi được nuôi dưỡng sung sức, các chiến sĩ cũng đã được chu cấp đầy đủ. Vậy nên, rạng đông ngày mai, hãy đến cùng Kṛṣṇa bên cạnh và bước vào trận chiến.”
