Ulūka’s Provocation and Keśava’s Counter-Message (उलूकदूत्ये केशवप्रत्युत्तरम्)

सगदाद्‌ भीमसेनादू्‌ वा फाल्गुनाद्‌ वा सगाण्डिवात्‌ । न वै मोक्षस्तदा भूद्‌ वो विना कृष्णामनिन्दिताम्‌,“गदाधारी भीमसेन अथवा गाण्डीवधारी अर्जुनसे भी उस समय सती साध्वी द्रौपदीका सहारा लिये बिना तुमलोगोंका दासभावसे उद्धार न हो सका

sa-gadād bhīmasenād vā phālgunād vā sa-gāṇḍīvāt | na vai mokṣas tadā bhūd vo vinā kṛṣṇām aninditām ||

Sañjaya nói: “Dù là Bhīmasena cầm chùy, hay Arjuna (Phālguna) cầm cung Gāṇḍīva—nếu không có Kṛṣṇā (Draupadī), người phụ nữ vô tì vết, thì khi ấy các ngươi đã chẳng thể được giải thoát. Sức mạnh của những dũng sĩ bậc nhất cũng không tự mình cứu các ngươi khỏi thân phận nô lệ; chính nàng, với sự hiện diện và lời đòi công lý, mới là chỗ nương quyết định.”
