Droṇa–Vidura–Gāndhārī Counsel in the Royal Assembly (धर्मार्थयुक्ता सभा-उपदेश-प्रकरणम्)
स राजा तस्य ते पुत्रा: पितुर्दायाद्यहारिण: । मा तात कल हं कार्षी राज्यस्यार्ध प्रदीयताम्
sa rājā tasya te putrāḥ pitur dāyādyahāriṇaḥ | mā tāta kalahāṁ kārṣī rājyasyārdhaṁ pradīyatām ||
Bhishma nói: “Vua Pandu là người thừa kế chính đáng của phụ vương ngươi, và các con trai của ngài—những Pandava—là những người thừa kế hợp pháp gia sản của cha họ. Vì thế, con yêu Duryodhana, chớ gây tranh chấp; hãy trao cho họ một nửa vương quốc.”
