Kuntī–Karṇa Saṃvāda: Lineage Disclosure and Appeal to Fraternal Dharma

Educational Q&A

Persistent delusion (moha) makes a person cling to misguided allegiance and results in entrenched malice (dveṣa) against the righteous; moral clarity is necessary to prevent hatred from becoming one’s nature.

Vaiśampāyana characterizes the opposing party’s stance by describing a figure who, under delusion, continually follows a wrongful course and therefore maintains hostility toward the Pāṇḍavas—framing the conflict as rooted in moral error and animosity.
