Karna–Krishna Dialogue: Omens and Dream-Signs
प्रभिन्नमिव मातड़ुं प्रतिद्विरदघातिनम् । न तदा भविता त्रेता न कृतं द्वापरं न च
sañjaya uvāca | prabhinnam iva mātaṅgaṁ pratidviradaghātinam | na tadā bhavitā tretā na kṛtaṁ dvāparaṁ na ca ||
Sañjaya nói: “Như một con voi đực đang kỳ động dục phá xích, kẻ sát thủ của những voi đối địch, khi ngươi thấy Bhīmasena hùng lực nhảy múa sau khi uống máu Duḥśāsana và, như chúa voi rỉ nhựa, nghiền nát đội tượng binh của quân thù, thì với ngươi sẽ như thể các thời đại đã sụp đổ: chẳng còn Kṛta, chẳng còn Tretā, mà cũng chẳng còn Dvāpara.”
