Krishna’s appraisal of Pandava advantage and war portents
असंशयं हितार्थाय ब्रूयास्त्वं मधुसूदन । सर्व च पाण्डवा: कुर्युस्त्वद्वशित्वान्न संशय:,मधुसूदन! इसमें संदेह नहीं कि आप मेरे हितके लिये ही ये सब बातें कहते हैं। पाण्डव आपके अधीन हैं; इसलिये आप उनसे जो कुछ भी कहेंगे, वह सब वे अवश्य ही कर सकते हैं
asaṁśayaṁ hitārthāya brūyās tvaṁ madhusūdana | sarvaṁ ca pāṇḍavāḥ kuryus tvad-vaśitvān na saṁśayaḥ ||
Quả thật, hỡi Madhusūdana, không nghi ngờ gì nữa: ngài nói tất cả những điều ấy chỉ vì lợi ích của ta. Và các Pāṇḍava đều ở dưới ảnh hưởng của ngài; bởi vậy, bất cứ điều gì ngài bảo họ làm, họ ắt sẽ làm—điều này cũng không còn nghi ngờ.
