नहुष बोले--सुन्दरी! तुम मुझसे यहाँ जैसा कह रही हो ऐसा ही हो। इसके अनुसार पता लगाकर तुम्हें मेरे पास आ जाना चाहिये; इस सत्यको सदा याद रखना ।। नहुषेण विसृष्टा च निश्चक्राम ततः शुभा । बृहस्पतिनिकेतं च सा जगाम यशस्विनी
nahuṣa uvāca—sundari! tvaṃ mayātra yathā bravīṣi tathaiva bhavatu; etad-anusṛtya jñātvā mām upāgaccha; imaṃ satyaṃ sadā smara. nahuṣeṇa visṛṣṭā ca niścakrāma tataḥ śubhā; bṛhaspati-niketaṃ ca sā jagāma yaśasvinī.
Nahuṣa nói: “Hỡi giai nhân, hãy đúng như lời nàng nói ở đây. Theo đó, hãy dò xét sự việc rồi đến với ta; luôn ghi nhớ lời chân thật này.” Được Nahuṣa cho lui, người phụ nữ cát tường, lừng danh ấy rời đi và đến nơi cư ngụ của Bṛhaspati.
