तथेत्युक्त्वा द्विजश्रेष्ठ: प्रादात्‌ कन्‍्यां महीपते: । विधिपूर्वा च तां राजा कनन्‍्यां प्रतिगृहीतवान्‌,तब “बहुत अच्छा” कहकर विप्रवर गालवने वह कन्या राजाको दे दी। राजाने भी उसका विधिपूर्वक पाणिग्रहण किया

Transliteration

tathety uktvā dvijaśreṣṭhaḥ prādāt kanyāṃ mahīpateḥ | vidhipūrvāṃ ca tāṃ rājā kanyāṃ pratigṛhītavān |

Translation

Nói: “Được vậy,” vị Bà-la-môn tối thượng trao thiếu nữ cho nhà vua. Nhà vua, theo đúng nghi lễ và phép tắc, đã nhận nàng làm vợ.
