Haryaśva’s Agreement with Gālava and the Birth of Vasumanā
Nārada’s narration
सदा देवमनुष्याणामसुराणां च गालव । काड्क्षिता रूपतो बाला सुता मे प्रतिगृह्यताम्,“गालव! इसके रूप-सौन्दर्यसे आकृष्ट होकर देवता, मनुष्य तथा असुर सभी लोग सदा इसे पानेकी अभिलाषा रखते हैं; अतः आप मेरी इस पुत्रीको ही ग्रहण कीजिये
sadā devamanuṣyāṇām asurāṇāṁ ca gālava | kāṅkṣitā rūpato bālā sutā me pratigṛhyatām ||
Nārada nói: “Hỡi Gālava, bị vẻ đẹp của nàng cuốn hút, chư thiên, loài người, và cả các asura đều luôn khao khát có được thiếu nữ này. Vậy xin hãy nhận lấy con gái ta.”
