Educational Q&A

The verse emphasizes niyati/niyama—regulated cosmic law: the Sun and other lights follow an ordained course. By implication, dharma is aligned with order and discipline, not arbitrary action.

The speaker describes a cosmological point or region from which the Sun’s motion becomes a slanting, revolving course, and where all luminaries are said to enter the Sun’s sphere—an explanatory passage about celestial movement.
