गालवस्य विषादः तथा विष्णुप्रयाणम्

Gālava’s Despair and Resolve to Seek Viṣṇu

स दृष्टवा शिरसा भक्तं प्रियमाणं महर्षिणा । तिष्ठता वायुभक्षेण विश्वामित्रेण धीमता

sa dṛṣṭvā śirasā bhaktaṁ priyamāṇaṁ maharṣiṇā | tiṣṭhatā vāyubhakṣeṇa viśvāmitreṇa dhīmatā ||

Nārada nói: Thấy hiền giả Viśvāmitra, bậc trí tuệ, đứng vững không lay chuyển, chỉ sống bằng hơi gió và đội lễ vật thức ăn trên đầu như một sự dâng hiến khổ hạnh, Dharma (trong dáng một đạo sĩ) hiểu rõ chiều sâu của sự tự chế ấy. Ngài nhận lấy phần ăn; nó nóng hổi như vừa mới nấu. Ăn xong, ngài phán: “Hỡi Brahmarṣi, ta vô cùng hài lòng về ngươi.” Nói rồi, Thần Dharma vẫn trong hình tu sĩ mà rời đi.
