बाढमित्येव ऋषयस्तमूचुर्भरतर्षभ । एवंवत्ते तु संधाने वृत्र: प्रमुदितो5भवत्‌,भरतश्रेष्ठ] तब ऋषियोंने उससे “बहुत अच्छा" कहा। इस प्रकार संधि हो जानेपर वृत्रासुरको बड़ी प्रसन्नता हुई

bāḍham ity eva ṛṣayas tam ūcur bharatarṣabha | evaṃvat te tu saṃdhāne vṛtraḥ pramudito 'bhavat ||

Các hiền triết nói với chàng: “Được lắm—cứ như vậy,” hỡi bậc hùng dũng của dòng Bharata. Khi giao ước đã được kết lập như thế, Vṛtra vô cùng hoan hỷ.
