वस्त्र चैव विचित्र च गन्धं चैव विशेषत: । देववत् पूजयेत् तं तु विष्णुलोकमवाप्नुयात्
vastraṃ caiva vicitraṃ ca gandhaṃ caiva viśeṣataḥ | devavat pūjayet taṃ tu viṣṇulokam avāpnuyāt ||
Người ấy nên dâng y phục đẹp rực rỡ, và nhất là hương liệu thơm, rồi thờ kính người tụng kể như thờ một vị thần. Người nghe làm như vậy sẽ đạt đến cõi của Viṣṇu—cho thấy lòng tôn kính đối với giáo pháp thiêng liêng và người truyền trao nó chính là một công đức đưa đến số phận cát tường.
