एतत्‌ ते सर्वमाख्यातं वैशम्पायनकीर्तितम्‌ । व्यासाज्ञया समज्ञातं सर्पसत्रे नूपस्य हि

Transliteration

etat te sarvam ākhyātaṃ vaiśampāyana-kīrtitam | vyāsājñayā samajñātaṃ sarpasatre nṛpasya hi ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana nói: “Tất cả những điều ấy ta đã thuật lại đầy đủ cho các ngươi—bản truyền thuyết Itihāsa do chính Vaiśampāyana xướng lên, được lĩnh hội theo mệnh lệnh của Vyāsa tại lễ tế rắn của nhà vua.
