Yuddha-yajña-vyākhyāna (The Battle as Sacrifice): Ambarīṣa–Indra Saṃvāda

दीपिचर्मावनद्धश्न नागदन्तकृतत्सरु: । हस्तिहस्तहर: खड्ग: स्फ्यो भवेत्‌ तस्य संयुगे

dīpicarmāvanaddhaś ca nāgadantakṛtatsaruḥ | hastihastaharaḥ khaḍgaḥ sphyo bhavet tasya saṃyuge ||

Ambarīṣa nói: “Một thanh kiếm được tra trong vỏ bọc da báo, chuôi làm bằng ngà voi, sắc đến mức có thể chém đứt cả vòi voi—thanh kiếm ấy, giữa cơn giáp chiến, trở thành sự che chở và lợi thế chân thật cho người mang nó.”
