अन्निहोत्राग्निशेषं च हविभोजनमेव च । आजहार दिवोदासस्ततो विप्रकृतो&भवत्
Transliteration
annihotrāgniśeṣaṃ ca havibhojanam eva ca | ājahāra divodāsas tato viprakṛto 'bhavat ||
Translation
Bhishma nói: Divodasa đã lấy cho mình phần còn lại của lửa tế Agnihotra, lại còn lấy cả thức ăn vốn dành làm lễ vật (havis). Vì hành vi chiếm đoạt điều thuộc về nghi lễ thiêng và phần đáng được của giới Bà-la-môn, ông bị xem là đã làm tổn hại các brāhmaṇa và vì thế mang tiếng chê trách.
