ग्रामं ग्रामशताध्यक्षो भोक्तुमरहति सत्कृत: । महान्तं भरतश्रेष्ठ सुस्फीतं जनसंकुलम्‌

Transliteration

grāmaṁ grāmaśatādhyakṣo bhoktum arhati satkṛtaḥ | mahāntaṁ bharataśreṣṭha susphītaṁ janasaṅkulam ||

Translation

Bhīṣma nói: “Vị giám quan đặt trên một trăm làng xứng đáng được tiếp đãi trọng hậu và được nuôi dưỡng chu tất. Hỡi bậc ưu tú của dòng Bharata, hãy cấp cho ông một ngôi làng lớn—phồn thịnh, sung túc, và đông dân.”
