इयमापत्समुत्पन्ना परचक्रभयं महत् | अपि चान्ताय कल्पन्ते वेणोरिव फलागमा:
iyam āpatsamutpannā paracakrabhayaṁ mahat | api cāntāya kalpante veṇor iva phalāgamāḥ ||
Bhīṣma nói: “Trong cơn tai biến này đã phát sinh một mối hiểm nguy lớn—nỗi kinh hãi trước đạo quân của kẻ thù. Nhưng ngay cả những điềm dữ như thế, rốt cuộc cũng có thể dẫn đến điều lợi, như tre đến kỳ kết trái thì mọi sự đi đến kết cục của nó.”
