शुश्रूषां सततं कुर्वन्‌ गुरो: सम्प्रणमेत च । षट्कर्मसु निवृत्तश्न न प्रवृत्तश्न सर्वश:

Transliteration

śuśrūṣāṃ satataṃ kurvan guroḥ saṃpraṇameta ca | ṣaṭkarmasu nivṛttaś ca na pravṛttaś ca sarvaśaḥ ||

Translation

Bhishma nói: “Hãy để người ấy luôn hầu hạ thầy và cúi lạy với lòng tôn kính đúng mực. Hãy tránh xa sáu nghề mưu sinh—tự làm tế lễ và làm tế lễ cho người khác, học và dạy, cho và nhận lễ vật—và tuyệt đối đừng, dưới bất kỳ hình thức nào, dấn thân vào điều phi nghĩa.”
