Śara-śayyā-sthita-bhīṣma-saṃvāda-prastāvaḥ
The Prelude to Questioning Bhīṣma on the Bed of Arrows
यश्नैतेन प्रमाणेन योक्ष्यत्यात्मानमात्मना । स फल सर्वपुण्यानां प्रेत्य चानुभविष्यति
yad etena pramāṇena yokṣyaty ātmānam ātmanā | sa phalaṃ sarvapuṇyānāṃ pretya cānubhaviṣyati ||
Thần Vāyu nói: Ai lấy lời dạy này làm chuẩn mực đáng tin, rồi tự mình dùng nỗ lực nội tâm để rèn luyện và chế ngự chính mình—người ấy, sau khi chết, sẽ thọ hưởng quả báo của mọi công đức, như thể đã gom đủ mọi nẻo chính hạnh.
