Śānti Parva, Adhyāya 52 — Bhīṣma’s Humility Before Kṛṣṇa and the Granting of Boons
यच्च किंचित् क्वचिल्लोके कर्ताव्यं क्रियते च यत् । त्वत्तस्तन्नि:सृतं देव लोके बुद्धिमतो हि ते
yacca kiñcit kvacilloke kartavyaṁ kriyate ca yat | tvattastanniḥsṛtaṁ deva loke buddhimato hi te ||
Vaiśampāyana thưa: “Bất cứ bổn phận nào, ở bất cứ nơi đâu trong cõi đời này, đáng phải làm—và bất cứ hành động nào thực sự được thực hiện—đều phát nguyên từ Ngài, hỡi bậc Thiêng Liêng; bởi ngay cả trí tuệ của người hiền trí trong thế gian cũng do Ngài mà tuôn chảy.”
