Śānti Parva, Adhyāya 52 — Bhīṣma’s Humility Before Kṛṣṇa and the Granting of Boons
यच्च मामात्थ गाड़ेय बाणघातरुजं प्रति । गृहाणात्र वरं भीष्म मत्प्रसादकृतं प्रभो
yacca mām āttha gāḍeya bāṇaghātarujaṃ prati | gṛhāṇātra varaṃ bhīṣma matprasādakṛtaṃ prabho ||
Vāyu nói: “Hỡi hậu duệ của Gāḍi, về nỗi đau do những mũi tên gây ra mà ngài vừa nói—hỡi Bhīṣma, bậc tôn chủ—xin hãy nhận lấy ân phúc này, do lòng gia hộ của ta ban xuống.”
