एवं शप्तस्तव भ्राता बहुभिश्नापि वज्चित:ः । न शोच्य: पुरुषव्याप्र युद्धेन निधनं गत:

evaṁ śaptas tava bhrātā bahubhiś cāpi vañcitaḥ | na śocyaḥ puruṣavyāghra yuddhena nidhanaṁ gataḥ puruṣasiṁha yudhiṣṭhira ||

Nārada nói: “Vậy nên người anh em của ngài—dẫu đã bị nguyền rủa và còn bị nhiều kẻ lừa gạt—đã gặp cái chết nơi chiến trận. Bởi thế, hỡi Yudhiṣṭhira, bậc hùng sư giữa loài người, chớ buông mình trong sầu não vì chàng.”
