Transliteration

tasyāḥ prītaḥ sa śaucena bhārgavaḥ kurunandana | putrārthaṃ prārthayāmāsa caraṃ gādhes tathaiva ca ||

Translation

Hỡi niềm vui của dòng Kuru, vị hiền triết Bhārgava hài lòng trước sự thanh khiết của nàng. Cầu mong có con trai, ngài bèn dâng lời khấn nguyện—đồng thời cũng cầu cho phúc lành của dòng Gādhi—lấy sức mạnh đạo đức của sự trong sạch, tự chế và hạnh kiểm chính trực làm nền cho ân huệ mong cầu.
