दानपात्रापात्र-निर्णयः / Determining Worthy Gifts, Recipients, and Permissible Food
ब्राह्मणास्त्वां महाबाहो भ्रातरक्ष महौजस: । पर्जन्यमिव घर्मान्ति नाथमाना उपासते,महाबाहो! जैसे वर्षाकालमें लोग मेघकी ओर टकटकी लगाये देखते हैं--उससे जलकी याचना करते हैं, उसी प्रकार ये सारे ब्राह्मण और आपके ये महातेजस्वी भाई आपसे धैर्य धारण करनेकी प्रार्थना करते हुए आपके पास बैठे हैं
brāhmaṇās tvāṃ mahābāho bhrātṛ-rakṣa mahaujasāḥ | parjanyam iva gharmānte nāthamānā upāsate ||
Thần Vāyu nói: “Hỡi bậc dũng sĩ tay mạnh, các Bà-la-môn này cùng những huynh đệ của ngài, người nào cũng đầy uy lực, đang ngồi kề bên, mong ngài che chở và khuyên ngài giữ vững lòng kiên định. Như người đời bị thiêu đốt vào cuối mùa nóng ngước nhìn mây mưa và cầu xin nước, cũng vậy, họ hướng về ngài như nơi nương tựa.”
