Transliteration

purā madhyāhna-lasamaye lokāṁs tapati bhāskare | pratyāditya-pratīkāśaḥ sarvataḥ samadṛśyata ||

Translation

Thuở xưa, vào giờ ngọ uể oải khi mặt trời thiêu đốt muôn cõi, bỗng hiện ra một bậc rực sáng—tựa như mặt trời thứ hai—ánh quang đồng đều, thấy rõ từ mọi phía.
