गोमत्यास्त्वेष पुलिने त्वददर्शनसमुत्सुक: । आसीनो वर्तयन ब्रह्म ब्राह्मण: संशितव्रत:

Transliteration

gomatyāstv eṣa puline tvad-adarśana-samutsukaḥ | āsīno vartayan brahma brāhmaṇaḥ saṃśita-vrataḥ ||

Translation

Bhīṣma nói: “Trên bãi cát bên sông Gomatī, có một vị Bà-la-môn giữ giới nguyện nghiêm mật, kiên định. Ông ngồi nơi ấy, tụng đọc Veda, lòng nôn nao mong được chiêm ngưỡng ngài.”
