एष एव तु सर्वेषामकार्याणां विधिर्भवेत्‌ । ब्राह्मणोक्तेन विधिना दृष्टान्तागमहेतु्भि:

Transliteration

eṣa eva tu sarveṣām akāryāṇāṁ vidhir bhavet | brāhmaṇoktena vidhinā dṛṣṭāntāgamahetubhiḥ ||

Translation

Chỉ có điều này là quy tắc đúng cho mọi hành vi bị cấm: phải thực hành sám hối để tẩy sạch tội lỗi đúng theo cách ấy—theo nghi thức do các bậc thẩm quyền Bà-la-môn truyền dạy, được nâng đỡ bởi những tiền lệ minh họa và bởi các lý lẽ của truyền thống thánh điển.
