धर्मस्य बहुद्वारत्वम् — Nārada’s Audience with Indra (Śānti-parva 340)

जनमेजयेन तच्छुत्वा कृतं सम्यग्‌ यथाविधि । यूयं हि तप्ततपस: सर्वे च चरितव्रता:

janamejayena tac chrutvā kṛtaṃ samyag yathāvidhi | yūyaṃ hi taptatapasaḥ sarve ca caritavratāḥ ||

Bhīṣma nói: “Nghe điều ấy, vua Janamejaya đã cử hành nghi lễ một cách chu toàn, đúng phép tắc theo các quy định. Còn các ngài, quả thật đều là những bậc khổ hạnh đã trải qua thử thách của khổ tu—mỗi người vững bền trong lời nguyện và nghiêm cẩn trong hạnh kiểm.”
